Who I am?

 First let me tell you what I am not: I am not a new Territorian, nor am I a nouveau Green or an extremist :“In everything the middle course is best; all things in excess bring trouble.”

 I came to live in Humpty Doo in 1971 and I have called Alice home since 1974 where I am better known as Madame Couturier by long term residents.

 I was raised in Africa on the philosophy of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the First Green.

 Wenten Rubuntja, neighbour and friend once said to me: "The town grew up dancing". I hope that the dancing will continue for a long-time and in order to do so, let's unite in our diversity to keep the music on.

In the words of David Suzuki  "It's time we stopped ignoring the environment. Let's not let another election go by without making this a high priority. Our personal consumer choices have ecological, social, and spiritual consequences. It is time to re-examine some of our deeply held notions that underlie our lifestyles"

Elections are over but I will keep  campaigning for :

1. More consultation with minority groups

2. Protection of the environment

3. Health

4. Education by respect, not by force

5. Tourism Industry (ecology -culture)
